In the universal Roman calendar, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven is celebrated on August 15^th as a Holy Day of Obligaton. However, when this Solemnity falls on a Sunday it is celebrated at the Sunday Vigil Mass.
