The Book of Exodus is the second of five parts which comprise what Scripture calls “The Book of Moses.” The Exodus experience was the defining moment in the history of the children of Israel. In the exodus out of Egypt Yahweh took a downtrodden group of Canaanite slaves and formed them into His holy covenant nation, making them the vehicle of salvation for the other nations of the earth. Study with us and learn how the transforming experience of the night of the first Passover, the harrowing passage through the churning waters of the Red Sea, and the rendezvous with God at Mount Sinai prefigured the Passion of the Christ, the Resurrection, and the birth of the New Covenant Church on Mount Zion.
