St. Jude Agape Bible Study
The Letter of Jude

St. Jude's letter is a rich mixture of both Old Testament Jewish and New Covenant Christian traditions. He attacks those who deny the teaching authority of the Church and promote false teaching to mislead the faithful. Using examples like the fall and punishment of Satan and the rebellious angels, and ancient Israel's disbelief and disobedience, Jude urges all Christians to remain faithful and obedient to the teachings of Jesus Christ: But you, beloved, build yourselves up in your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God and wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life (Jude, verses 20-21).
